Notice & Care Guide
Important Notes
-
Natural Leather Variation: Each pair of Dwarves shoes is unique. Due to the natural texture of leather and our hand-dyeing process, slight variations in color, grain, and finish between pairs are completely normal and a hallmark of genuine handcrafted leather goods.
-
Color Representation: The colors shown in product photos may appear slightly different from the actual item, depending on your screen settings and lighting conditions. We do our best to represent colors accurately, but minor differences are to be expected.
-
Airing Out Your New Shoes: Because our shoes are shipped in sealed packaging, they may have a slight odor upon arrival. This is completely normal — simply leave them in a well-ventilated area for one to two days and the smell will dissipate naturally.
Leather Care & Maintenance
-
Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dark, dry, and well-ventilated place. Avoid stacking them with other leather products to prevent creasing or color transfer.
-
Daily Cleaning: After each wear, use a soft cloth or soft-bristled brush to gently remove dust and dirt from the upper. Regular light cleaning helps maintain the leather's appearance and longevity.
-
If Your Shoes Get Wet: Stuff the shoes with newspaper and replace it every 20–30 minutes, two to three times, to absorb moisture. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature.
-
Avoid Heat and Direct Sunlight: Do not use a hair dryer, heater, or any direct heat source to dry your shoes, and keep them out of direct sunlight. Excessive heat can cause the leather to crack, warp, or fade.
