My Adventure in Sichuan with Dwarves Combat Boots

I'm an outdoor enthusiast and a frequent traveler, always carrying my laptop and work with me on the road. This time, I wore my newly designed Dwarves combat boots  to Chengdu and explored the stunning landscapes of Chengdu, Jiaju Tibetan Village, Seda, Xinduqiao, Yuzixi, and Gedeilamu…

I chose sku: dwarves2030 leather lined for this adventure. I wore these boots for the entire week-long trip. Given that they were fresh out of the studio, it was a bit of a gamble. I was ready to buy a pair of sneakers as a backup if they turned out to be uncomfortable! I was curious to see how the combination of a rubber sole and a leather upper would hold up during long hikes and outdoor adventures.

On the first day in bustling Chengdu, I walked around for 10 hours straight. Surprisingly, these boots paired perfectly with my black dress. The only downside was that they felt a bit heavy and thick-soled for city walking, especially for my slim feet. The 17-degree Celsius weather made them slightly warm, and by the end of the day, my second toe was a bit red. Despite these minor issues, the boots were incredibly comfortable and didn't require any breaking-in period. Aside from the boots, I fell in love with Sichuan embroidery and a niche bag design brand.

On the second day, I visited Jiaju Tibetan Village, often referred to as "Switzerland of China." I sang, danced, and picked apples in the orchards. The temperature dropped to around 5 degrees Celsius, but the boots kept my feet warm and comfortable. The spacious design allowed my feet to relax, even on muddy mountain trails.

On the third day, I arrived in Seda, home to the world's largest red building complex. The altitude was around 4000 meters, and the temperature dropped to -10 degrees Celsius at night. Despite the cold, I was able to comfortably climb to the summit and enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-covered landscape and the red buildings. The thick sole of the combat boots proved to be the perfect choice for this mountainous terrain.

On the fourth day, I revisited a manor in Xinduqiao that I had visited years ago. The scenery was as beautiful as I remembered, but different with each season. 

On the fifth day, we drove through the snowy mountains of Yuzixi and saw the "Sky City" of Gedeilamu. My combat boots had developed a weathered look after five days of constant wear, but I loved the vintage feel. They had become softer and more comfortable. We arrived at the foot of the snow mountain at noon, but unfortunately, we missed the sunset.

Despite this minor disappointment, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The majestic mountains, vast grasslands, and the wonders of nature always rejuvenate my soul and make me cherish every moment of life.

On the sixth day, I returned to the office and shared my travel experiences and the performance of our designed boots. The combination of a rubber sole and a leather upper proved to be incredibly comfortable, suitable for everything from city strolls to outdoor adventures. The leather lining kept my feet warm in temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius. For even colder weather, we plan to offer options with short plush or wool lining.
